Darcia From is the Step Up Bloomsday challenge winner. For signing up and logging her runs, she wins 2 entries to Bloomsday. Thanks Bloomsday. It’s not too late for you to take the Bloomsday challenge. Some training is always better than none. And this challenge can be used after Bloomsday to help you develop exercise habits for life! Here’s why the winner likes the Step Up challenges.
“I’ve enjoyed the Step-Up Spokane challenges. I’m doing the million step challenge and the Bloomsday challenge, even though I am training for a half marathon at the end of May in Coeur d’Alene. I like being accountable for my training, and logging my runs on your website does just that. The fact that the Bloomsday course is on the dashboard motivates me to keep moving forward, and keeps me excited about the race. Every time I log a run, I think of Doomsday hill and being able to run up the whole thing!
A friend and I ran the course a few days ago and it was a different experience without all the other runners. We saw parts of the course we had never noticed before, even though we have done the race several times. There is no match for the excitement the crowd brings, however, and I look forward to the community feel that Bloomsday always delivers.”
