Step Up Spokane Adopts a Mile on the Centennial Trail

Sunshine and warm weather means great weekends to get out and enjoy our fabulous Centennial Trail! 37 miles of accessible, paved pathways to walk, run, skate, or bike. Check out mile 22-23 near Gonzaga and downtown Spokane.  Step Up has sponsored a mile..yeah!  Helps keep the trail up and helps us get the word out to MOVE!

The Spokane River Centennial Trail begins at the Idaho state line and ends at Nine Mile Falls in Washington.  Much of it is along the Spokane River making for some beautiful views.  In 2008, there were more than 2 million uses on the Centennial Trail. One way the trail is maintained is by adopting a mile. There are still a couple of miles left to adopt…see the Adopt-a-Mile program at http://www.spokanecentennialtrail.org.
